A full written proposal and fixed-price agreement, with clear milestones and a payment schedule. We handle or coordinate DA and CDC approvals where required.
05. Construction Commencement
Our local team on-site from day one. Regular progress updates and a finished result that meets the brief exactly.

Timber or composite - which is right for me?
Both have their place. Timber is warmer and more natural but wants upkeep; composite costs more upfront and asks almost nothing after. We’ll talk you through the trade-offs for your space and budget honestly.
Will a coastal deck really last?
If it’s built for the conditions, yes. The right timber or composite, marine-grade fixings, proper drainage and correct framing are what decide it. They’re exactly what we don’t compromise on.
Do I need council approval for a deck?
Sometimes. Low decks often fall under exempt development, while raised or larger decks may need a CDC or DA. We’ll tell you what applies and handle or coordinate the approval.
Can you build on a sloping block?
Yes. Elevated and multi-level decks on difficult ground are some of our best work; engineered footings and framing turn an unusable slope into real outdoor space.
How long does a deck take to build?
Most decks are a matter of weeks on site depending on size and access. You’ll have a realistic timeline before we begin and updates throughout.
