New Builds, done without compromise
Building new is where a builder’s discipline shows most clearly, nothing to work around, and nowhere to hide a shortcut. Every decision, from the slab to the final fixtures, is one we own. That’s the work we specialise in: custom homes built from the ground up on the Northern Beaches, to a single uncompromising standard.
We manage every project with one in-house team, one contract, and one point of contact, no subcontractor handoffs, no gaps for things to fall through. We’re honest about scope, clear on cost, and direct the moment something needs to be addressed, so you’re never left guessing where your build stands.

We have used NF a few times now. From knocking out walls to open up our lounge/dining, to rebuilding our deck and stairs. Anything we have thrown at them has been completed with quality, professionalism and a minimum of fuss. They really listened and took on board we want, prioritised our build, and delivered to our requirements. A great experience every time.

I recently engaged Nick and the team at NF build to renovate my bathroom. From start to finish Nick was professional, communicative and thorough. He provided regular updates throughout the project which I really appreciated. I am absolutely delighted with my new bathroom and the space NF Build has created. Thankyou!

We were delighted to find Nick and his company to rebuild our aging deck. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Their quote was very reasonable and Nick was upfront and honest with any concerns or necessary changes to the proposed work or schedule. Nick and Joel are excellent tradesmen.

Nick and his team were exceptional. From the very first meeting, Nick was so great to deal with. He was thorough, patient and excellent with communication throughout the whole process. He was great with us design ideas and ran the job seamlessly. The attention to detail and quality was outstanding. Nothing was ever a problem and he made sure we were happy at every stage along the way. We are so happy with the final result and would 100% recommend NF build.

We had such a great experience with NF Build and honestly can’t recommend them enough. They helped renovate our kitchen and laundry, and also installed new sliding doors that look amazing. The communication was excellent, they worked hard, and the quality of the work was top notch. We’re so happy with how everything turned out!
James Garner
Honest, reliable, and trustworthy — these are the words I’d use to describe Nick and his team. They did exactly what they said they would, within the timeframe promised and at the agreed price. It’s rare to find that kind of integrity and follow-through these days
Why homeowners choose us to build from the ground up.
Building new is a discipline of its own
A new home is only as good as the thousand decisions behind it, the ones made before the slab is poured and the ones made at the final coat of paint. We plan the whole build properly, hold the detail throughout, and deliver the home exactly as designed.
One team. One contract. One point of contact.
We manage every trade in-house. There is no subcontractor chaos and no gaps for things to fall through, from the first day on site to the final coat of paint, you deal with one accountable team and the same familiar face throughout.
Transparent from day one.
We are honest about scope, clear on cost, and direct when something needs to be addressed. You will have a realistic timeline and a clear price before we begin. Not an optimistic figure to win the work.
Northern Beaches, exclusively.
We build here and only here. We know the blocks, the councils, the coastal conditions and the approvals process, and our reputation in this community has been earned project by project.
Licensed, insured and accountable.
A fully licensed building company, Home Warranty (BC) insured on every project, Master Builders NSW member, and a 2025 Master Builders Excellence Awards finalist. The protections that matter on a project of this scale are in place before we begin.

The result of doing it right
Building new, answered.
Do I need plans or an architect before enquiring?
Not at all. Many clients come to us with a block and an idea, nothing more. We’ll talk you through what’s realistic and, where needed, connect you with the right architect or designer.
Can you build on a sloping or difficult site?
Yes. Complex blocks are where our experience shows most. We plan excavation, retaining, drainage and access properly before a slab is poured, so the difficult part is solved on paper first.
Do you handle knockdown rebuilds?
We do. We manage the demolition, approvals and rebuild under a single contract, so replacing an existing home is one coordinated project rather than several.
Do you manage council approvals?
Yes. Whether your build requires a CDC or a full DA, we handle or coordinate the approvals process so you’re not left navigating council alone.
How long does a new home take to build?
It depends on size and site, but you’ll receive a realistic construction timeline before we begin, not an optimistic one to win the work, and regular updates throughout.
